PCMC‘s Harper Road Show – A Tremendous Success! (April 2010)—Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC) recently hosted the Harper Road Show, a seminar series for the flexographic printing industry. The event was a tremendous success, welcoming more than 195 visitors from around the world to PCMC’s global headquarters in Green Bay. The Road Show was held exclusively for PCMC’s flexible packaging and label printing customers. Luminer Converting Purchases Aquaflex ELS Press (January 2010)—Luminer Converting Group of Lakewood, New Jersey, has purchased its first Aquaflex ELS 13 inch 9-color state-of-the-art Servo printing press. “We needed to purchase a press that not only gave us superior printing and registration capabilities, but also a press that we could customize to allow us the ability to run a variety of different applications,” stated John Borrelli, Partner and General Manager of Luminer Converting. “We were able to get everything we required by working with the PCMC staff on configuring the ELS press for all our needs.” Read more...

PCMC Welcomes Andre Beaudoin to the Aquaflex Team (December 2010)—Mark Gillis, Global Sales Director for printing and folding converting at Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC), has announced the addition of a new member to the PCMC Aquaflex team. Andre Beaudoin joins the printing sales team as National Sales Leader, North America. Beaudoin will sell directly to customers in North America, while leading the Aquaflex new machine sales team in the growth and expansion of this key product line. “Andre comes to PCMC with many years of proven experience selling capital equipment to the narrow web inline printing and converting industry,” Gillis stated. “The addition of Andre strengthens our commitment to this industry. McCracken Label Company Purchases Fourth Aquaflex Press (November 2010)—McCracken Label Company, out of Chicago, Ill., has purchased its fourth Aquaflex press, an ELS (Electronic Line Shaft) 16.5” 8-color state-of-the-art Servo printing press.“ We already own several Aquaflex presses which perform well for us,” said John Coaker, owner of McCracken Label Company. “When we decided to diversify into film markets, the Aquaflex ELS was a perfect choice due to its superior registration and low-waste capabilities.” Read more...

Northern Label Group Purchases Third Aquaflex Press (September 2010)—Northern Label Group of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, has purchased its third Aquaflex press, an ELS (Electronic Line Shaft) 16.5” 8-color state-of-the-art Servo printing press. This is the company’s second ELS press purchase in the last three years. “We employ the most talented people using the best new technology available, and our Aquaflex ELS presses give us the competitive advantages we need to differentiate ourselves from our competition,” said Don Rees, co-owner of Northern Label Group. Aquaflex Reports Record Sales at Label Expo Americas (Oct 2008)—Aquaflex reports record sales at Label Expo Americas. Traffic on the Aquaflex booth was consistent and interest was high in the ELS and FPC demonstrations. Environmentally friendly package printing was demonstrated on the Aquaflex FPC Servo and the ELS demonstration underscored the press’s unique ability to print high-quality process color on thin film.
